I have loved & enjoyed all Jane Yeadon’s books. They’re such eye openers to nursing in the 1960’s with the hard work & difficulties. I wish there were more books.
Having recently returned from a trip to Scotland, I found this series of fascinating stories quite fun to read.. My brief brush with the Scottish people and culture left me at the time, anxious to delve more into the psyche of these Edinburgh and highlands residents.
jane Reardon writes in such a way that you totally feel as if you were there with her.I liked it that the story is set in Scotland and the way they speak.
Great read.
Quite boring
Excellent stories
An interesting and entertaining read especially if you have been or are a nurse!!!!! I have only been a theatre nurse so to follow what happens when on the road ,especially in the 60s was enlightening g to say the least.....
